History and Acquisitions:
Borden Pest Control has grown into one of the largest pest control companies in South Carolina. The ability to offer a wide range of services, the largest technology and employee training available, coupled with the strong customer service concerns of a family owned business has allowed for many satisfied customers.
In 1985 we acquired Byrd & Wilfong, a long term CSRA company. In 1989 we acquired Petes Pest Control, which was a long term Aiken County business. Our next acquisition came in 1996 with Key Exterminating, expanding our Greenville branch. Key was a long term business servicing most counties in upstate SC. In 1999 we further expanded our upstate customer base with the acquisition of Howell Termite & Pest Control, a younger firm of about 7 years offering services primarily in the Greer and Spartanburg areas. |

Borden Pest Control began in 1960 servicing Edgefield and Saluda Counties, then later expanded into Aiken and McCormick Counties in SC, and Richmond, Columbia, McDuffie and Burke Counties in GA. Following a move to the North Augusta-Belvedere area in 1975, the service territory continued to expand into further outlying areas of the CSRA. In 1995, Borden Pest Control opened a branch office in Greenville, SC and immediately added Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, Pickens, and Newberry Counties to its covered territories.
In addition to growth through reputation and advertising, we have welcomed new customers by way of acquisitions over the years.
